My name is Dr Gavin Baxter and I am a research assistant in the School of Computing at the University of the West of Scotland. My research focuses on the implementation and application of Web 2.0 technologies in organisations for the purposes of organisational learning. I have a primary interest in researching the subject area of the uses of internal blogs and their potential to support the process of organisational learning. My other research areas include the applicability of blogs, wikis and online discussion forums as internal communication and knowledge sharing tools in organisational project-based environments.
